Embark on an exciting contract opportunity as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist, working full-time in an elementary school setting for the 2026–2027 academic year. Shape young learners’ communication skills and make a meaningful difference, supporting a diverse caseload of approximately 43 students in a vibrant educational environment. This role offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule, totaling 37.5 hours per week, from August 10, 2026, through May 28, 2027.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a related field
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Strong preference for candidates with an active North Carolina SLP license
- Background in school-based or pediatric speech therapy preferred
- Experience with evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of communication, language, and speech disorders in children
- Effective teamwork and communication skills
- Proficiency in documentation and caseload management
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary-aged students
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists
- Provide evidence-based therapy, interventions, and supports, both individually and in group settings
- Monitor progress, update goals, and maintain detailed records in compliance with school guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and professional development as needed
