We are seeking a dedicated Paraprofessional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and assisting in educational settings.
Responsibilities
- Support classroom teachers in implementing lesson plans
- Assist students with various tasks to enhance their learning experience
- Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Provide one-on-one support to students who may require additional assistance
- Aid in behavior management and classroom organization
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
Requirements
- Experience working with preschool or school-aged children
- Knowledge of childhood development and early childhood education principles
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques
- Ability to assist in lesson planning and classroom activities
- Experience working with students, including those with autism
- Strong interpersonal skills for working with teachers, students, and parents
- Proficiency in math to support students as needed
- Ability to manage a classroom environment effectively
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.70 - $24.00 per hour
