TRP Lending, LLC is the nonprofit Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) wholly owned by TRP that provides affordable lending products and services to support sustainable homeownership and neighborhood stability.
General Job Description
TRP Lending, LLC is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Processor & Closing Coordinator to support mortgage lending, home repair lending, and grant processing activities across multiple housing and community development programs.
This is a six-month grant funded position, with the possibility of extension based on available grant funding, program needs, performance, and other operational considerations.
This position is responsible for coordinating files from application through closing and post-closing, including document collection, disclosures, closing coordination, funding preparation, and compliance review. The role works closely with borrowers, Loan Originators, housing counselors, title companies, contractors, and external partners to ensure files move efficiently through the pipeline. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Loan & Grant Processing
- Collect, review, and organize borrower and program documentation.
- Review applications for completeness and accuracy.
- Track outstanding conditions and follow up with applicants and third parties.
- Assist with disclosures, processing documents, and file preparation.
- Support intake and processing for grant-funded programs and special initiatives.
- Maintain accurate electronic and physical loan files.
Closing Coordination & Compliance
- Coordinate closings with title companies, attorneys, mobile notaries, and internal staff.
- Prepare and review Closing Disclosures and closing packages for accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate funding requests and disbursements with accounting and leadership.
- Ensure all pre-closing conditions, insurance, title, and recording requirements are satisfied.
- Review executed closing packages and prepare files for post-closing and servicing.
- Assist with recording mortgages, liens, UCC filings, and related documents as applicable.
Operations Support
- Maintain pipeline and status updates within Salesforce, Calyx, and internal tracking systems.
- Assist with internal reporting, audits, and program compliance tracking.
- Support communication between lending, counseling, real estate, and program teams.
- Participate in outreach events and workshops as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Knowledge and Skills
- High School Diploma required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in mortgage lending, banking, grants administration, housing programs, or related field preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish required.
- Experience with mortgage processing and closing coordination preferred.
- Experience with Salesforce, Calyx Point, or similar systems preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Work Schedule & Location
This is a hybrid position requiring a minimum of three (3) days per week in the office and up to two (2) remote workdays, subject to business needs and supervisory approval. Standard business hours are Monday through Friday; however, occasional evenings and weekends may be required to support closings, community events, workshops, or program activities.
Position Classification & Salary
Full Time, Time Limited Position - $50,000 - $63,000
This is a grant-funded, time-limited position anticipated to last through January 2027, subject to continued funding and organizational needs. The position is eligible for benefits in accordance with TRP’s standard benefits eligibility requirements. Employment beyond the grant period is not guaranteed and will depend on continued funding, program needs, and the availability of another suitable role.
