About the Role
We’re urgently hiring a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Technician to join our team at our dog boarding and daycare facility in Round Lake, NY!
This is an on-site role where you’ll help care for dogs daily — ensuring their safety, comfort, and happiness. If you love animals and enjoy active, hands-on work, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
What You’ll Do
- Provide daily care, feeding, and exercise for dogs
- Keep kennels and play areas clean and well-maintained
- Observe and report any changes in animal behavior or health
- Assist with medications as needed
- Handle animals safely and compassionately
- Provide friendly, professional service to pet owners
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in pet care, dog handling, or grooming preferred
- Veterinary assistant/technician experience is a plus
- Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs as needed
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Comfortable with all dog breeds and temperaments
- Dependable and available for weekends and holidays
- Attention to detail is a must!
