Job description
We are looking for a Tube Mill Operator to join our team!
Candidates need to work well as a team to ensure customers are receiving top quality products in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Operates production machines, machine tools and equipment used to roll, weld, cut steel tubes per specifications
- Set up and adjust machines according to specifications
- Spot weld
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Troubleshoot and resolve machine malfunctions or issues
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure proper functioning
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Experience as a machine operator 5 or more years
- Preferred CNC/Plasma experience
- Preferable Machinist Degree
- Preferable Mechanical Engineering knowledge
- Ability to read micrometer calipers
- Strong mathematical skills
- Prior experience working with hydraulics, drill heads, gears, bearings, bushings, and general department maintenance a plus
- Welding experience REQUIRED
- Quality Control experience
- 5 or more years blueprint reading
- Electrical Management experience a plus
- CNC Milling Machine experience a plus
- Preferable A&P License
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Basic Math Skills are Required
