About the Role:

We are seeking dedicated caregivers who has experience with hospice, bedbound clients, stand pivot transfers, proper body mechanics, compassion, dependability.
You will be working alongside a live-in caregiver and be the 2nd support person in the home on an hourly basis.
Hours:
Multiple Positions:
1st, 2nd and 3rd shift positions available. - week and weekend
Hospice experience is a MUST
Earnings:
Qualified candidate will be compensated based off experience with a pay range between $19.00-$21.00/hour.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance to male client who is on hospice, bed bath, emptying a foley catheter bag.
- Monitor, document and report any changes in client condition.
- Engage client in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and mental well-being, as much as client is able to.
- Medication Reminders.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for client.
- Communicate effectively with client, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' end of life care.
Requirements:
- Valid CNA certification in the state of Connecticut if applicable or HHA.
- 4 years of Professional Experience in home care or assisted living environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and transfer clients safely.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable demeanor.
- Background check and references required.
