The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) is responsible for practicing medicine, including conducting examinations and writing prescriptions. Within the physician –APRN collaborative agreement, APRN exercises autonomy in medical decision-making and provides a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic services with no supervision requirement. Must have a strong cardiology background. Epic experience preferred.

Minimum Education, Experience, Training, and Licensures/Certifications/Registrations Required:
- BSN required; MSN required
- Successful completion of advanced practitioner training and certification as a practitioner from an approved nurse practitioner program
- Eligible at all times to be insured for professional liability
- Active RN license in Kentucky or compact state
- Current unrestricted license to practice as an APRN in the Commonwealth of Kentucky
