We are a small Caribbean Restaurant located in Snellville, GA. We are seeking a Cook/Food Prep team member to join us. The ideal candidate must be customer service oriented, friendly, reliable, motivated, and love being in the kitchen. They must be able to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Cook experience is preferred. Hiring Immediately!
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of Caribbean dishes following recipes and instructions.
- Assist with prepping ingredients: chopping vegetables, seasoning meats, and preparing sauces.
- Ensure food is prepared, cooked, and served according to safety and quality standards.
- Maintains overall sanitation and safety standards for food preparation area, counters, and sink.
- Monitor food stock levels and alert management when supplies are low.
- Ability to multi-task efficiently and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to be a team player; work with others to achieve team goals.
- Able to perform other related duties as assigned.

- Must have reliable transportation to get to and from work.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Basic knowledge of cooking techniques, food prep, and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work efficiently and maintain cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently, part of a team, and perform under pressure.
- Ability to stand on your feet for several hours.
- Ability to lift at least 50lbs.
- Must comply with all sanitation procedures.
Experience:
- Prior experience in a kitchen or cooking role is strongly preferred.
- Previous experience in high paced work-related environment preferred but not required.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Must be available evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
Work Days:
- Tuesday - Saturday (Off Sunday & Monday)
- Must be flexible
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
