Recovery Specialist: Relief
The Granada House is seeking to hire part-time Recovery Specialists. The Granada House is a state licensed substance use disorder residential recovery home located in Allston, Massachusetts. This shift is for Saturday 7am - 3pm and Sunday 7am-3pm.
The duties and expectations for the Recovery Specialist position include, but are not limited to:
Answering phones and taking messages
Hourly rounds of the program’s main floor, and 2 residential floors to complete safety checks
Maintaining office log of shift events
Keeping on call administrator aware of any emergency situations
Tending to the needs of the 22 residents of the program
Ensure rule compliance by residents
Light file management assigned by the Clinical Director
Light office tasks assigned by administration
The Granada House is willing to provide necessary training for an appropriate candidate.
Required:
If in recovery from alcohol or drugs, candidate must be 1+ year sober
Proof of US residency and/or proof of legal status to work in the US
Preferred:
Background/familiarity with substance use disorder treatment and/or the disease of addiction
CPR certified
Narcan trained
