Responsibilities
- Coordinate the assembly, installation, and maintenance of park attractions and equipment, ensuring all components are secure and operational.
- Manage event setups, including arranging seating, signage, and activity stations to optimize guest experience.
- Enforce safety protocols by conducting regular inspections, adhering to safety guidelines, and responding promptly to hazards or incidents.
- Assist guests with outdoor activities, providing clear instructions and ensuring their safety during participation.
- Handle cash transactions at entry points or retail outlets using POS systems, accurately processing payments and issuing receipts.
- Provide first aid or CPR when necessary, demonstrating quick thinking and calmness in emergency situations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations while maintaining a lively and positive atmosphere.
Qualifications
- Experience managing outdoor events or recreational activities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong background in conflict management and guest service excellence.
- Certified in first aid and CPR; lifeguard experience is a plus.
- Prior work experience at event venues or in hospitality settings preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment safely and perform manual handling tasks regularly.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and POS transactions.
- Excellent communication skills for public speaking and guest interactions.
- Experience working with children or in retail sales is advantageous.
- Familiarity with safety protocols related to outdoor work environments, including food service experience or resort experience is beneficial.
