Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take their food and beverage orders
- Operate POS systems & process sales swiftly and correctly
- Prepare and serve food/ alcohol items in accordance with safety standards and sanitation protocols
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, bar, counters, and food prep stations through bussing and sanitation duties
- Assist bartenders in cocktail and beer preparation tasks when necessary, taking orders, & serving food, ensuring quality and timely service during busy periods
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables or customers efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast
- Strong customer service skills with an energetic, positive attitude
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety standards within the food industry
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, and order calculations
- Experience in bartending
- Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume periods seamlessly
- Capable of multitasking while maintaining attention to detail in a lively setting
- Keeping a clean and orderly work space
