Duties
- Lead engaging sound bath sessions using instruments such as crystal bowls, Tibetan singing bowls, gongs, chimes, and tuning forks to facilitate relaxation and healing.
- Design and customize sound programs tailored to different groups or individual needs, incorporating principles of physiology, anatomy, and body mechanics.
- Demonstrate proper instrument techniques and guide participants through mindful breathing and meditation practices to enhance the therapeutic experience.
- Educate attendees on the benefits of sound therapy and promote ongoing participation in wellness programs.
- Maintain a safe environment by adhering to health and safety protocols, including first aid readiness and AED operation.
- Collaborate with wellness teams to develop new program offerings that integrate sound healing with other fitness or mindfulness activities like yoga or Pilates.
- Manage session logistics, including setup, equipment maintenance, and post-session cleanup to ensure smooth operations.
Experience
- Proven experience in leading group fitness classes or wellness sessions with a focus on sound therapy or meditation.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and body mechanics relevant to relaxation techniques and holistic health practices.
- Familiarity with various fitness disciplines such as yoga, Pilates, dance, CrossFit, or sports coaching enhances your ability to connect with diverse audiences.
- Certification or training in sound therapy, Reiki, meditation instruction, or related holistic modalities is highly desirable.
- Background in health club environments or personal training adds value to your ability to design effective programs.
- Demonstrated proficiency in CPR/AED certification ensures safety during all sessions.
- Experience with coaching techniques that motivate participants while maintaining a lively and positive atmosphere.
