Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Hydraulic Service Technician to join our service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance of hydraulic systems and sub-systems on a variety of heavy equipment, industrial machinery, and mobile equipment. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance, safety, and reliability of the equipment used in a range of environments and applications. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic systems using schematics, OEM manuals, and diagnostic tools.
- Repair and replace hydraulic components such as pumps, valves, cylinders, hoses, and fittings to restore equipment functionality.
- Recommend and implement custom modifications to hydraulic systems to meet specific operational needs.
- Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on heavy equipment including excavators, cranes, tractors, forklifts, presses and other industrial manufacturing and municipality machinery.
- Operate heavy equipment such as mobile cranes, overhead cranes, and forklifts to assist with installation or repair tasks.
- Read and interpret technical schematics, mechanical drawings and OEM manuals to accurately diagnose problems and determine appropriate solutions.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, hydraulic presses, and other tools for repairs and reassembly tasks.
Qualifications
- Minimum of Five years experience in hydraulic, pneumatic, mobile equipment or electro-mechanical equipment (mechatronics).
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in heavy equipment operation including excavators, cranes, forklifts, farm equipment and manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot hydraulic systems effectively.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment and other tools.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Physical ability for heavy lifting and perform repairs in various environments (i.e. heights, high heat, dirty, etc.) with occasional overnight travel requirements.

Pay: From $20.50 per hour
