Expanding Ophthalmology / Optometric practice in North San Diego County is looking for an Ophthalmic Technician to work at both of our locations (Poway and San Marcos). Must be ok with driving to either location.
Our busy, fast paced Ophthalmology practice is looking for a self-motivated, task-oriented, professional to join our team. Some data entry possible.
Tasks:
- Patient work-ups (chief complaint, HPI, ROS and taking vision)
- Perform testing including, Humphrey Visual Field, Lensometry, Keratometry, Applanation Tonometry, AR, OCT, Retinal Photography, Glare, BAT, PAM, RAM.
- Should be familiar with EHR or be computer literate and willing to learn. Assistance with surgery scheduling and corresponding with PCP's, surgery centers, and our surgeons.

Qualifications:
A minimum of (1) one year experience in an ophthalmology practice as an ophthalmic technician is required. There is an opportunity for our office to support candidates who are interested or in the process of obtaining certification.
Salary commensurate with skill level and experience.
