We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic server to join our dynamic team nights & weekends. for now, this is a filler position, filling in for vacations, and time off and eventually can pick up more hours as time goes on.
As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests. Your responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using manual system.
- Provide detailed menu information to guests, including daily specials and upselling opportunities.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or culinary roles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest experience.
- Basic math skills for handling cash register transactions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.
- Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safety standards are met.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with guests and team members.
