Hourly Position - $16.11/HR
Must be flexible to work Days, Swings, Overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays
PURPOSE:
Under the direction of the Executive Chef this position is responsible for preparing food production items and short order cooking for all Food & Beverage outlets as part of the Kitchen Team.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare food items as directed by the Sous Chefs and Lead Cooks.
- Follow Naskila standard recipes when preparing each product. Recipes must be out and visible in the work area to ensure compliance.

Ensure proper production and food handling of all items.

Must maintain high standards of quality and appearance for all food prepared and served.
- Must maintain compliance with all health codes, standards, quality control, and portion control programs and procedures.
- Responsible for the cleanliness and organization of cook line at all times.
- Follow and successfully adhere to Naskila Casino Mission Statement and the Food & Beverage Mission Statement.

REQUIREMENTS:
Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED.
-
Minimum of one (1) year experience as a prep cook or short order line cook in restaurants with high volume.

A combination of education, experience, and, or training may be considered in lieu of these requirements.
Skills and Abilities:

Ability to work from standardized written recipes.

Ability to work under pressure.

Ability to establish rapport and effectively relate to various guests and Team Members.

Ability to understand and follow standard operating procedures, verbal, and written instructions.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

Must possess sensitivity to the Native American culture.

Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License.

Must successfully complete an Introductory Period.

Must be able to communicate and interact with Guests, fellow Team Members, and Management in a professional and courteous manner.

Must maintain and wear uniform provided by Naskila Casino, if applicable.
