Mimecast Extraction Engineer
We are looking for a highly skilled Data Migration SME with **8–10 years of experience** to lead a massive email archive extraction project!
**Key Roles**
- Leading the end-to-end technical migration of legacy email archives from Mimecast into Microsoft Azure Blob Storage.
- Extracting high-volume data using Mimecast APIs, native eDiscovery, and enterprise 3rd-party migration tools (e.g., Transvault, Nuix).
- Writing scripts (PowerShell/Python) to automate batching and manage API rate limits.
- Architecting and securing Azure Blob Storage containers (Hot/Cool/Archive tiers).
- Ensuring zero data loss and maintaining a legally defensible chain of custody.
**What you need to bring:**
**8–10 years of experience** in IT Infrastructure, Cloud Engineering, or Data Migration.
Deep, hands-on experience with Mimecast Cloud Archive and bulk data exports.
Proven expertise using REST APIs and 3rd-party extraction tools.
Strong Microsoft Azure background (Blob Storage, RBAC, Data Lifecycle).
Scripting proficiency for API automation and log-level troubleshooting.
Salary Range- $90,000-$110,000 a year
