Join the Opening Team of Salem’s Newest Boutique Hotel
We are seeking a warm, polished, and service-driven Part-time Front Desk Associate to join the opening team of a brand-new boutique hotel in the heart of Salem, MA. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of something special from day one — helping to shape the guest experience and establish our hotel as a standout destination.
Our ideal candidate is welcoming, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Weekend availability is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with professionalism and genuine hospitality
- Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently and accurately
- Handle reservations, room assignments, and guest requests
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations about Salem attractions, dining, and events
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries and resolve concerns with grace
- Maintain accurate records and handle payments securely
- Collaborate with housekeeping and management to ensure seamless operations
Qualifications:
- Previous front desk, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent typing skills with the ability to compose professional emails and guest correspondence clearly and efficiently
- High attention to detail in written communication and reservation accuracy
- Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure
- Proficiency with computers and reservation systems (experience with hotel PMS a plus)
- Flexible schedule with required weekend and holiday availability
- Professional presentation and positive attitude
