Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles, including box trucks and automobiles, adhering to all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe lifting practices.
- Plan efficient delivery routes using organizational skills to optimize time and fuel consumption.
- Deliver products directly to retail stores, clients, or designated locations while maintaining professionalism and a positive attitude..
- Engage with customers professionally, building strong relationships through clear communication and excellent customer service.
- Handle heavy lifting with proper techniques to ensure safety during loading and unloading processes..
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience in commercial truck driving or automobile transportation preferred.
- Basic math skills for accurate inventory management.
- Proven experience in driving Route driving or similar delivery roles, especially within retail or logistics environments.
- Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team coordination.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and follow safe lifting practices consistently.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations, commercial driving standards, and vehicle maintenance basics.
- Customer relationship building skills that foster trust and repeat business.
- Prior retail store experience or military background is a plus, demonstrating discipline and organizational prowess.
- Must be at least 21 and able to pass preemployment screening
