Retail Operations Manager
Cotton & Crete is looking for a full-time Retail Operations Manager to help bring our storefront to life each day. This role is perfect for someone who loves beautiful product, thoughtful merchandising, organized inventory, and the little details that make a store feel inspiring, welcoming, and well-run.This position is a mix of product management, inventory flow, merchandising, and team support. The Storefront Operations Manager will work closely with our management team and warehouse team to help keep product moving, inventory accurate, new arrivals listed, and the sales floor styled in a way that feels true to the Cotton & Crete brand.
We are looking for someone with a strong eye for design, styling, and visual storytelling — someone who understands how to make a table feel collected, how to layer pieces with texture and charm, and how to keep the store feeling fresh as seasons change. This role is not just about putting product on the floor; it is about helping create the experience our customers feel when they walk through the door.
This is a full-time position with some weekends required. Because retail is seasonal and event-driven, this role does require flexibility. There will be times when staying later than expected is needed for seasonal changeovers, floor resets, storefront events, warehouse events, or special projects.
Pay: Salary based on experience
Responsibilities include:
- Help oversee the daily flow of the storefront and keep the store running smoothly
- Support store staff and help guide the team in their daily roles and responsibilities
- Communicate regularly with the management team about store needs, product flow, inventory, and priorities
- Work with our backend systems to manage inventory, product updates, and listings
- Assist with listing new products and keeping product information accurate
- Coordinate with the warehouse team to move product to and from the storefront
- Help bring new arrivals to the floor in a timely, organized, and intentional way
- Merchandise product in a way that reflects the Cotton & Crete style — collected, layered, thoughtful, and inviting
- Assist with seasonal changeovers, floor resets, displays, and visual merchandising updates
- Help prepare for and work storefront or warehouse events as needed
- Keep the storefront clean, organized, stocked, and inspiring for customers
Ideal candidate:
- Has retail, merchandising, inventory, styling, or product management experience
- Has a creative eye and loves making spaces feel beautiful, intentional, and shoppable
- Is highly organized and comfortable managing multiple moving pieces
- Is comfortable working with backend systems; Shopify experience is strongly preferred
- Communicates clearly with staff, warehouse, and management teams
- Can work independently while also being a supportive team player
- Understands that retail requires flexibility, especially during seasonal launches, changeovers, events, and busy shopping periods
- Can stay later when needed to complete floor resets, seasonal updates, events, or important store projects
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
