PRN Position
Family Home Health is seeking a Speech Therapist (SLP) for Mercer and Lawrence Counties who is ready for a challenge and wants to make a difference in the lives of older adults. As a Speech Therapist, you'll be part of a collaborative team whose energy, communication and dedication are valued and rewarded.
Requirements:

Speech-language pathologist license, in good standing with the state
-
1 year clinical experience in Speech-Language Pathology
-
Current CPR Certification
Essential Functions include but are not limited to:

Identify functional speech defects and establish a plan of care to improve patient’s function
-
Travel to patient's homes to asses their speech needs and complete therapy treatments

Administer speech therapy program utilization specialized therapeutic technique and / or equipment
-
Recommend communication devices / aids as indicated
-
Confer with referring physician and other organizational personnel to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care

Prepare and submit notes per organization policy
-
Maintain clinical competency in speech-language pathology practice and theory
