The Abbington at Gilbert is a premier senior living community dedicated to providing exceptional independent living, assisted living, and memory care services. We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Marketing to lead occupancy growth, strengthen community awareness, and build meaningful relationships with prospective residents, families, and referral partners.
Position Summary
The Director of Marketing is responsible for developing and executing marketing and sales strategies that drive lead generation, tours, move-ins, and occupancy growth. This role combines relationship-building, community outreach, digital marketing oversight, and sales leadership to support the community's business objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Other duties may be assigned:
– Responsible to fill and maintain the community census as efficiently as possible and according to budgeted goals. Actively manage and follow up with hot, warm, and cold leads by daily updating tasks and notes in ECP and the OSR.
– Develop and follow an effective and professional marketing plan within the approved budgeted amounts. Develop and track on-going goals for tours, closings, leads and referrals. Promptly fill out marketing reports.
- Create, maintain, and prioritize a networking list of contacts, coordinate visits via phone, site visits, and lunch appointments. Follow-up promptly on inquiries.
- Give professional tours that are consistent with the marketing position of the community and train staff to conduct tours. Ensure that all model rooms, common areas and public restrooms are first impression ready.
– Look for every opportunity to establish a culture of welcoming others and promoting the community by training staff members and being the voice of the building.
Develop and implement successful community events that generate leads and promote resident and family satisfaction.
– Make effective use of social media and direct the advertising efforts of the community.
- Coordinate move-in/move-out process by completing all relevant paperwork with new resident/family, order/replace resident name plates in a timely manner, inform maintenance immediately when resident is moving out and perform final walk through of apartments to make sure they are market ready.
