Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team for a part-time position, three days a week (M,W & F). The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments, ensuring that all spaces are welcoming and hygienic. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Cleaner will play a vital role in enhancing the overall appearance and functionality of facilities.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties in assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas.
- Conduct floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and vacuuming to maintain clean surfaces.
- Execute custodial tasks including dusting, window washing, and waste disposal to ensure a tidy environment.
- Assist with industrial cleaning projects as needed, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
- Maintain equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good working condition and properly stored.
- Collaborate with team members to complete cleaning assignments efficiently and effectively.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is a plus.
- Skills in floor care techniques such as buffing and polishing are highly desirable.
- Ability to perform industrial cleaning tasks safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team-oriented environment.
