Job Summary
Concession Worker needed for a food truck July 5, 2026 (Darke County Fairgrounds). In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving food and beverages at the 4th of July Festival.
Responsibilities
- MUST be able add orders in your head and be able to make and count back change quickly and accurately.
- Greet customers - quickly and efficiently take their orders.
- Prepare and serve food items, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the concession area.
- Handle cash transactions with basic math skills while ensuring accuracy in sales.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
- Restock supplies as needed to maintain operational efficiency.
Experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment is required.
- Previous experience in sales or customer service is preferred.
- Familiarity with food safety practices is essential.
- Experience in a culinary environment, grocery store, quick service fast food restaurant, or café is a plus.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
