Overview
Join our dedicated team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and individuals with developmental disabilities. In this vital role, you will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). Your work will focus on promoting positive behaviors, enhancing daily living skills, and supporting clients’ progress toward their goals. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in behavioral health while providing compassionate, patient-centered care. All Training is provided and paid for to become a Registered Behavior Technician!
Duties
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles to support clients with autism and other developmental disabilities
- Collect and record data on client behaviors, skill acquisition, and progress to inform ongoing treatment plans
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, hygiene, feeding, and other essential self-care tasks
- Support clients during teaching sessions to foster communication, social skills, and independence
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, care plans, and behavioral health records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with team members to monitor client progress and adapt interventions as needed
- Ensure a safe environment by managing behavior and implementing behavior management strategies effectively
Requirements
- Experience working with children or individuals with autism or developmental disabilities preferred
- Ability to collect detailed data accurately and maintain thorough medical records
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients, families, and team members
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards in healthcare settings

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
