JOB DESCRIPTION
Service Technicians spend the majority of their time in a shop atmosphere, although they frequently visit the front office. Duties and responsibilities may include the following:
- Technicians are responsible for providing an OUTSTANDING DVIs! you will be responsible for top-tier DVIs while putting clients first, always. We’re looking for experienced techs with pride in their work and a “Yes” attitude that builds trust and exceptional service.
- Keeping your team morale up as you are the liaison between your advisor and the client!
- Upon receiving an inspection of the vehicle, you are responsible for generating all findings for all maintenance and repair items using our shop management software.
- Presenting advisor with all repairs suggested by your talented technical diagnosis. You will inspect and present to the advisor to show all findings to the client in an efficient and effective manner. Educate and inform them on the stats of their vehicle (the good, the bad, the ugly).
- Upon approval from the client, you are responsible for removing all necessary items from the vehicle after the proper time or parts were approved. Use quality parts when available and ensure the client leaves with a vehicle that is safe and reliable.
- Track timing to when the part arrives and if a core is needed, then verify with our advisors immediately to ensure the delivered parts are correct as well as that the core is sent back after the repair.
- Fully documenting every ticket to justify each repair. Verify that you produce full repair information to help on every repair order(Concern, Cause, Correction). Keep our clients informed by updating them on the repair order for ensuring both the customer and the front staff have a record of the repair process.
- Maintaining shop cleanliness (interior, exterior, bathrooms, garage) by establishing practices that ensure routine cleaning and maintenance of the entire shop ecosystem.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 to 10 years of Technician experience or schooling
- High school diploma
- Valid driver’s license
- ASE certifications are encouraged but not required

Pay: $30.00 - $55.00 per hour

Experience:
- Automotive repair: 3 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- State Inspector License (Preferred)
- ASE A1 Engine Repair Certification (Preferred)
- Driver's License (Required)
