About the Role:
La Quinta Glenwood Springs is looking for a hands-on and motivated General Manager to oversee daily hotel operations and lead a service-driven team. This is a full-time salaried management position, ideal for an experienced hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong focus on guest satisfaction, team development, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services
- Lead, train, and manage department heads and hourly team members to meet service and financial goals
- Ensure adherence to brand standards, local health/safety regulations, and internal policies
- Drive guest satisfaction by actively resolving issues and maintaining high service standards
- Monitor and manage hotel budgets, labor, and inventory in coordination with ownership
- Maintain a visible presence on property, especially during peak periods and emergencies
- Conduct regular staff meetings, performance reviews, and training sessions
- Ensure operational readiness and cleanliness of all guest areas
- Serve as the primary liaison with the Wyndham brand and manage SynXis PMS operations
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of hotel management experience required (GM or AGM level)
- Branded hotel experience preferred (Wyndham, IHG, Hilton, etc.)
- Experience with SynXis PMS or other hotel property systems (Opera, OnQ, etc.)
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Must be organized, self-motivated, and committed to hands-on leadership
Compensation & Benefits:
- $60,000 to $75,000 (based on experience and qualifications)
