Experienced Front Counter Cashier
We are currently hiring an experienced and reliable Front Counter Cashier to join our restaurant team.
Job Responsibilities:
* Answer incoming phone calls professionally and take customer orders accurately
* Take customer orders at the front counter
* Operate the restaurant POS system efficiently and accurately
* Process cash and credit card payments
* Greet customers and provide friendly, professional customer service
* Confirm and organize takeout orders before giving them to customers
* Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and other team members
* Maintain a clean and organized front counter and work area
* Assist with other front-of-house duties as needed
Qualifications:
* Previous restaurant front counter, cashier, or POS system experience is strongly preferred
* Must have strong English communication skills and be comfortable answering customer phone calls
* Must have good basic math skills and handle payments accurately
* Must be responsible, dependable, and punctual
* Must be able to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment
* Must have a positive and professional attitude
* Must be available to work weekends and busy shifts
This position does not serve or sell alcoholic beverages. A Tennessee ABC Server Permit is not required.
