American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift weekend position at an acute care hospital in Charlotte, NC, requiring ARRT certification with advanced CT registry and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Work in a CT Scan department at a 373-bed acute care hospital (344 acute, 29 inpatient rehab) in Charlotte, NC
-
Facility offers CT, X-ray, Ultrasound, MRI, Interventional Radiology, and Nuclear Medicine services with Radiology Nursing support; TJC Stroke accredited

Patient population includes ED, inpatient, observation, and outpatient cases

Department performs CT-guided invasive procedures, cases with anesthesia, and Cardiac CT imaging

Average of 160 studies per weekday and 120 studies on weekends

Equipment includes 3 Siemens CT scanners (Definition AS 40, Force, and Edge+) and Bayer/Medrad Power Injectors

EMR: Epic (Radiant RIS); PACS: Philips iSite
-
3x12-hour night shifts, Friday through Sunday, 8:00 PM – 8:30 AM (36 hrs/week)

No floating required

Travelers are expected to work 75% of holidays

Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience, with most recent experience within the last year

ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology with advanced registry in CT
-
Current BLS
-
Active state license required if applicable

Proficiency in venous and arterial phase scanning, multi-phase scanning, stroke imaging including perfusion, and colorectal studies
-
Ability to start peripheral IVs

Candidates must reside 50+ miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted

Last 4 digits of SSN and full DOB required for consideration

Minimum of 1 professional reference dated within the past year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN

TeraRecon knowledge is preferred but not required

Guest Services and Transport staff support inpatient and observation patient movement within the department

Orientation includes 1 day of administrative onboarding (Epic, eLearnings, policy review) and up to 1 week of departmental orientation as needed, including weekdays regardless of assigned shift

Black scrubs required
