American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week day shift travel contract in Austin, TX, requiring a minimum of 1 year of recent experience and active ACLS and BLS certifications.

Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 12-hour shifts

Rotating weekend coverage

No on-call requirements

Active RRT credential required; license required if applicable

Minimum 1 year of recent experience in respiratory therapy (within the last 6 months)

Current ACLS and BLS certifications required (AHA or ARC accepted; certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)

US SSN and DOB required for consideration — no Canadian SSNs accepted

One professional reference required

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible

Perform nebulizer treatments, oxygen therapy, and ventilator management as core daily responsibilities

Scrub color requirement: olive green tops and black bottoms

ICU, NICU, or PICU experience is preferred
