Security Officer Patrol

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and members of the public by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related activities at a government location.

Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as appropriate.

Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Monitor access points, verify identification and/or visitor information when required, and report policy violations, maintenance issues, and suspicious behavior according to site protocols.

Support emergency response activities, assist with crowd and/or traffic direction during public events or high-volume periods, and complete routine reports and logs before, during, and after each shift.
Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
