We are actively recruiting Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) for full-time day shift and night shift positions at a state-operated adult male correctional facility in McCormick, South Carolina. Your expertise and leadership will help ensure high-quality care to those in need.
These competitive positions offer premium pay and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Successful candidates must be able to complete onboarding requirements and begin their assignment in accordance with the specified schedule.
Job Details:
- Full-time schedule, 36 hours (three 12-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend)
- Day shift (6:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.) and night shift (6:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.) positions are available
- Mandatory 3-week onboarding for orientation and training, first shift (8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.), Monday through Friday, at the beginning of the assignment
Licensed Practical Nurse License and Credentials Requirements:
- Current South Carolina or Compact LPN License
- Current CPR Certification, BLS
- Current PPD
Primary Job Duties:
- Conduct health assessments and sick call for inmates
- Administer medications and treatments
- Provide health education and counseling
- Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals
- Treat inmate health conditions and injuries
- Supervise nursing assistants
