As a Front Desk Receptionist, you'll be one of the first people our members and guests meet. Your professionalism, hospitality, and positive attitude help create the welcoming atmosphere our members expect and play an important role in delivering the exceptional experience South End is known for.
Position Overview
We're looking for a friendly, dependable, and hospitality-driven Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in creating a welcoming experience for every member and guest.This is not a seasonal or temporary position. We're looking for someone who is excited to become a valued member of our team and grow with us over time.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome members and guests while providing exceptional hospitality and customer service
- Check members in, answer phones, and respond to general club inquiries
- Provide accurate information about club amenities, programs, events, and policies
- Create a welcoming and professional experience for every member and guest
- Enforce club policies confidently, consistently, and with hospitality in mind
- Assist with event inquiries and membership tours
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Friendly, professional, outgoing, and welcoming demeanor
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Reliable with consistent attendance and punctuality
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable enforcing policies with confidence and professionalism
- Takes initiative and works well independently
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
- Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred
Schedule
- Flexible availability required
- Weekend availability is required
- Ability to work mornings, evenings, holidays, and rotating shifts as needed
