What You’ll Do
As a Production Associate, you’ll support daily manufacturing operations, help keep production running efficiently, and ensure customers receive high-quality products.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside roll-forming and production teams to maintain efficient operations.
- Assist with coil and material changeovers.
- Package, move, and prepare finished products for shipment.
- Rework or repackage parts as needed to meet quality standards.
- Perform visual inspections and use measuring tools to verify product quality.
- Complete basic machine setup and troubleshooting.
- Maintain accurate production counts and documentation.
- Support other production departments as needed.
- Follow all Environmental, Health and Safety procedures.
- Take ownership of product quality and stop production if concerns arise.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Ability to read work instructions, blueprints, safety documents, and control plans.
- Experience using calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, hand tools, or similar equipment is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 75 pounds independently and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Stand and walk throughout an eight-hour shift.
- Frequently bend, stoop, twist, and step on and off low platforms.
- Perform repetitive manual tasks, including banding materials.
- Use hand tools and measuring equipment throughout the shift.
- Work safely around moving machinery, elevated noise levels, and occasional coolant, fumes, and airborne particles. Personal protective equipment is provided.
