Inventory Associate

Position Summary:
The Inventory Associate supports the Inventory Manager in maintaining accurate inventory control and efficient dispensary operations. They ensure compliance with state regulations, manage incoming product, and contribute to a positive work environment while delivering customer-focused service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Intake 3rd party product accurately following state guidelines.
- Report intake variances and inventory issues promptly.
- Support labeling, barcoding, and floor readiness of products.
- Update Dutchie menus and verify product data accuracy.
- Conduct audits, inventory counts, and maintain manifest documentation.
- Support floor stocking and fill in-store and online orders.
- Cash out customers and maintain register integrity.
- Stay informed of compliance regulations and industry standards.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and support inclusive culture.
Qualifications:
- Must be 21+ and pass all background checks per federal and state guidelines.
- Maintain consistent attendance and professionalism.
Education:
High school diploma/GED required.
Experience:
- 1–3 years’ cannabis experience preferred.
- Experience with inventory tracking systems and compliance.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Basic math and computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision.
Reports To:
Inventory Manager
Working Conditions:
- Must be available for varied shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Able to assist customers with disabilities in navigating dispensary areas.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and transport up to 30 lbs. throughout the store.
- Frequent use of computer and POS system.
- Standing and moving for extended periods; use of headset or walkie-talkie.
