Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately preparing and dispatching outgoing shipments. This role requires proficiency in warehouse management systems, shipping & receiving procedures, and the operation of various material handling equipment. Salary DOE.
Duties
- Prepare and package products for shipment using appropriate materials and techniques, including packaging and palletizing.
- Utilize Warehouse Management System to process orders, update inventory records, and ensure accurate order picking & packing.
- Conduct quality checks on outgoing shipments to verify accuracy against order specifications.
- Manage shipping documentation, labels, and compliance with carrier requirements.
- Assist with stock replenishment, stocking shelves, and inventory management.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to safety standards.
Experience
- Previous experience in warehouse management, shipping & receiving, or distribution is preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks.
- Basic math skills for inventory counts and order calculations are required.
- Knowledge of e-commerce fulfillment processes and order picking/packing procedures is advantageous.
- Prior experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment involving order fulfillment, stocking, load & unload operations will be beneficial.
