Berkeley Eye Center/Pearland seeks Visual Field Technician. Full time position in busy ophthalmology office performing Visual Field testing that enables the physician to better care for their patients. This is a GREAT opportunity for someone with optometric experience looking to move into ophthalmology.
Candidate must be articulate, compassionate, self motivated, and professional. Training will be provided. Fluency in English & Spanish is a plus.
What is a Visual Field test?
A visual field test is often given as part of an eye exam. Visual field testing helps your doctor to determine where your side vision (peripheral vision) begins and ends and how well you can see objects in your peripheral vision.
Using the results of these tests, your doctor will be able to determine if you are having trouble seeing in certain areas of your visual field, as well as possible causes for these difficulties.
Hours of Operation:
Monday -Thursday: 8 am – 5 pm
Friday: 8:00 am – 2 pm

Pay Range shown is an estimate. Actual pay rate for this position will be based on skillset & depth of experience.
