Job Summary:
- Assist, and/or provide for activities of resident's daily living, including but not limited to: assisting with meals, feeding residents, providing for residents' personal hygiene; assisting with and/or giving complete or partial tub and shower baths, back rubs, shampoos, and shaves; making beds; providing oral hygiene, including care of dentures; providing care of hair and providing morning and evening care.
- Take and/or report temperature, pulse and respirations; make unoccupied beds; distribute drinking water, distribute bedpans and urinals, measure and record intake and output; empty drainage bags, weigh patients as directed.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION: Must be licensed by Department of Public Health as a Certified Nurse's Aide. Ability to speak, read and write English. Ability to follow written and oral directions.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Must participate annually in 12 hours of in-service training to maintain certification.
