Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled 1099 Plumber to join our dynamic team as an independent contractor, earning a competitive 40% commission on all services performed. Duties
- Perform plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance on residential and commercial water systems in accordance with local building codes and safety standards
- Conduct drain cleaning using specialized tools and equipment to ensure optimal flow and prevent blockages
- Operate plumbing inspection cameras to diagnose issues within pipes and underground systems accurately
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment to complete projects efficiently
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to execute precise plumbing work on remodeling or new construction sites
- Manage plumbing system inspections, identify problems, and recommend effective solutions for long-term performance
- Handle heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely on construction sites while adhering to safety protocols
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about work scope, progress, and maintenance tips
Requirements
- Proven construction experience with a focus on plumbing systems in residential or commercial settings
- Proficiency in welding, pipe threading, drain cleaning, and the use of plumbing inspection cameras
- Strong mechanical knowledge of water systems, plumbing system maintenance, and repair techniques
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations governing plumbing installations
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and interpret specifications accurately
- Experience operating company vehicles or heavy-duty trucks safely on job sites
- Knowledge of remodeling projects and handyman skills for versatile job capabilities
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting tasks
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude at all times
