About the Role
As an Environmental Health and Safety Lead, you will spearhead our commitment to operational excellence by overseeing comprehensive safety and environmental programs. You will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of prevention, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvement in our manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities-
Design and execute robust safety and environmental policies to ensure full adherence to OSHA and EPA standards.

Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions to minimize occupational risks and enhance workplace safety.

Manage Environmental and Safety Management systems, including ISO 14001, to drive performance and operational efficiency.

Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies and insurance partners to maintain compliance and mitigate liability.

Oversee the administration of worker’s compensation claims and safety training initiatives to empower the workforce.

Develop and manage departmental budgets, including resource allocation for safety equipment and waste management services.

Drive sustainable manufacturing practices by identifying opportunities to reduce environmental waste streams and improve resource conservation.

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Safety, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

Proven track record in managing OSHA and EPA regulatory reporting and record-keeping.

Strong understanding of hazard analysis, risk assessment, and incident investigation methodologies.

Active certification or deep working knowledge of ISO 14001 environmental standards.

Experience with behavior-based safety programming and industrial hygiene.

Expertise in managing complex environmental permits for air, water, and hazardous waste.
