The Regional ABA Evaluator (BCBA) is responsible for conducting comprehensive initial ABA evaluations for children diagnosed with ASD or other developmental concerns through age 10. This role focuses on assessment, clinical recommendations, family engagement, and treatment planning to ensure timely access to medically necessary ABA services. The Regional ABA Evaluator travels throughout an assigned region to complete evaluations and collaborates closely with clinical teams to support seamless transitions into ongoing ABA treatment. This position is designed to balance direct evaluation services with dedicated administrative time for report completion and authorization-related responsibilities. Successful candidates demonstrate advanced assessment expertise, strong clinical interviewing skills, efficient report writing, and the ability to build trust quickly with children and families.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Ability to travel in the region is required. Travel expenses will be reimbursed in accordance with Hopebridge policy.
Required Education and Experience

Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology or closely related field.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing with the BACB
-
At least three years of certification with the BACB as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst

Licensed as a Behavior Analyst, in the state (where applicable)

Deep experience with skills assessments and curricula (e.g., VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, EFL, AFLS, PEAK), required

Superior report writing skills

Strong background in behavior reduction program development and oversight

Ability to communicate knowledge in the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to professionals and non-professionals
Preferred Education and Experience

Experience with both Medicaid and private-insurance patients preferred

Physical Demands:
This is a stationary position that requires frequent sitting or standing, repetitive wrist motions, grasping, speaking, listening, close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Employees in this position must be physically able to efficiently perform the essential functions of the position. May need to lift pediatric population at times (up to 50 lbs).
Work Environment:
Work is performed in an office and clinical environment. Work may be stressful at times due to a busy office or center environment with patients. Interaction with others is constant and interruptive.
