SUMMARY:
A Packing Associate is responsible for carrying out day-to-day tasks including prepping, packaging, and labeling in accordance with standards set by New Jersey.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

- Staging product and packaging supplies to meet daily production schedule.
- Performing quality assurance protocols as designated by QCC’s procedures.
- Responsible for increasing operational efficiency and reducing waste through ownership, teamwork, communication and collaboration.
- Perform in-process and post-process quality assurance testing and conducting visual inspections to ensure all product meets or exceed QCC’s specifications
- Ensuring 100% compliance involving proper weighing, data recording, product tracking and security throughout the entire packaging process.
- Consistently operates in an efficient manner that also complies with all OSHA regulations, QCC SOP’s and all applicable required procedures.
- Responsible for ensuring each product is properly labeled in compliance with the NJ Regulations.
- Keep a precise count of all packaged product and weight(s) of product used for an accurate end of day reconciliation of packaged inventory and remaining inventory
- Electronically convert packaged products in the state traceability system
- Operates and maintains packaging line for pre-roll equipment, stations and program.
- Oversees the safe and secure transport of cannabis and cannabis products between production environments and secured storage, in a sanitary manner
- Efficiently fill the pre-roll cones.
- Accurately weigh pre-rolls and fill to standards.
- Track and record pre-roll counts each day.
- Maintain and clean the pre-roll work space.
- Maintain the quality of the pre-rolls.
- Other duties as assigned by manager.
Pay: $17.50 per hour
