New York Pain Relief Medicine, PLLC is seeking a capable and detail-oriented Phlebotomist to join our clinical team part time. The ideal candidate will assist our pain specialists by performing IV placements and preparing patients for interventional pain procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform venipuncture and IV insertions safely and efficiently
- Prepare patients for interventional pain procedures, including obtaining vitals and ensuring proper pre-procedure protocols
- Assist providers with clinical tasks as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with practice standards
- Support workflow in the procedure and recovery areas
- Provide compassionate, professional patient care at all times
Qualifications:
- Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) or equivalent
- Experience with IV placement required or strongly preferred
- Prior experience in a pain management, ambulatory surgery, or medical office setting is a plus
- Strong communication, multitasking, and patient-care skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with providers and clinical staff
