Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks with precision and flair.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with integrity, including cashiering and basic math calculations for transactions.
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and addressing any questions or concerns professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures and food preparation protocols.
- Assist in food service tasks such as serving pastries, snacks, or light food items while ensuring quality presentation.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick turnaround without compromising quality or customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience or strong coffee experience is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability in cash handling, cashiering, and retail math to ensure accurate transactions.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in the food industry or café setting is advantageous but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential.
