We have an immediate opening for an Electron Beam Welder for a busy Manufacturing company in Covina. You will contribute to the production and manufacturing of industrial testing equipment. Join a company that cares about their employees and invests in their professional development!
Day Shift: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. EB welding REQUIRED, TIG welding and/or brazing a plus.
Pay Rate: $21hr - $24hr DOE
Job Description:
- Perform a variety of assembly operations and tasks on electronic or electromechanical components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies.
- Perform complex and difficult assembly tasks. Required to work from established prints and drawings.
- Use the EB Welding machine in different pressure environments
- Performs delicate placement and alignment, wire bonding and hand soldering of small components.
- Uses soldering irons, crimping tools, and any other special tooling as required to perform tasks. Performs any rework requiring similar operations
Skills:
- Ability to work with small components on a repetitive basis.
- At least 1 year of Elctron Beam Welding experience
- Regular use of microscope in assembly.
- Soldering certification, a plus.
- At least 1 of electromechanical assembly experience.
- At least 3 years of manufacturing industry experience.
- Ability or read schematics, diagrams, drawings, BOM/part lists and other engineering diagrams
- Experience using hand tools/power tools, soldering irons, drills, wrenches, etc.
- Basic math and computer skills. Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50lb.
