Are you an experienced Flexographic Press Operator who's ready to take the next step into leadership, but still enjoys running a press?
We're looking for a Day Shift Production Supervisor to lead our production floor while remaining hands-on with our press operations. This is an excellent opporunity for someone who enjoys coaching others, solving problems, improving production, and still getting ink on their hands.
Schedule
Monday to Thursday 6:55 am to 5 pm
Equipment you will work with:
- Mark Andy P5 11 color
- Mark Andy P5 10 color digital hybrid
- Mark Andy P7 10 color with turret
- Mark Andy Pro Series 8 color with Butt Splicer and Turret
- Webtron 750 5 color
Duties:
- Supervise daily production activities on day shift
- Coordinate shift overlap and ensure smooth communication between shifts
- Provide technical support to Press Operators and Press Assistants
- Help troubleshoot print quality and production issues
- Cover operator breaks, vacations, and absences by running presses as needed.
- Assist with make-readies and production scheduling priorities
- Promote safety, quality, housekeeping, and continuous improvement
- Coach and mentor operators and assistants to improve skills and efficiency
- Help drive production goals while maintaining exceptional print quality
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of Fleoxgraphic printing experience
- Experience operating Mark Andy and webtron press is highly desirable
- Experience with shrink film and digital printing is highly desirable
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving abilities
- Ability to train and mentor employees
- Comfortable leading by example and working alongside the team
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
