Lebanon Seaboard Corporation is looking to fill some production positions. This position supports packaging line operation through assisting with set up, monitoring, maintaining equipment, sealing bags, and material handling. Operate production line equipment, label printing equipment, and packaging equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Some positions are for 12 hours shifts and in some cases on the overnight shift.
Essential Functions:
1. Follow all safety guidelines and requirements.
2. Ensure compliance with Company policies.
3. Follow all SOPs, SWIs, and OPLs associated with the packaging line departments.
4. Accurately follow bill of materials to manufacture quality product.
5. Inspect all operating equipment for replacements, malfunctions or needed repairs.
6. Follow specific directions from Team Lead, work orders, parameter sheets, and verbal
instructions.
7. Ability to enter confined space for cleaning and quality checks.
8. Ability to coordinate with DC personnel on where to store finished goods.
9. Assist with transportation of raw materials.
10. Perform quality checks.
11. Input correct information into ink jet system.
12. Ability to use RF scanner.
13. Verify correct weights.
14. Assist packaging line operation as directed by Team Lead or management.
15. Provide feedback to Plant Management Team.
16. Perform cleaning and general housekeeping tasks.
17. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
-High School Diploma or GED
-Ability to add, subtract, divide, multiply in all units of measure.
-Use of basic tools to repair and maintain equipment.
-Common sense understanding to apply basic decision making and instructions.
-Excellent verbal and written communication.
-Ability to follow production schedules and instructions.
-Strong sense of organization.
-RF scanner experience.
-Qualified to operate a forklift.
-Qualified to wear a respirator.
Work Environment:
-Daily work around large equipment (conveyors, elevators, screens, rotating drums, etc.).
-Exposure to cold, hot, wet, dry weather conditions.
-Exposure to dust.
-Moderate noise level.
-Required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, sit, crawl, etc.
-Lift or move up to 50 pounds.
-Exposure to various chemicals (insecticides, herbicides, fungicides, etc.).
-Ability to complete tasks and assignments individually but also work in a team-oriented
environment.
-Ability to work in confined spaces.
