Job Type: Full‑time
Schedule: Monday–Friday (consistent schedule), 8 hrs/day, 5 days/week
Positions Available:
- Full-Time Infant/Toddler Teachers
- Full-Time Preschool Teachers (Ages 3-5)
Position Overview
Teachers work both alongside Lead Teachers and independently within required classroom ratios to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment. Team members support children's growth and development while building positive relationships with families and fellow educators.
Responsibilities include, among others:
- Provide attentive, nurturing care for children
- Maintain supervision and safety at all times
- Support classroom activities, routines, and developmental experiences
- Foster a warm, engaging, and supportive learning environment
- Follow Missouri Child Care Licensing Regulations and Academy policies
- Work collaboratively with Lead Teachers and other staff
- Communicate professionally and positively with families and coworkers

About Academy
Academy of Early Childhood Learning is a locally owned early childhood education program in Columbia, Missouri. We provide high-quality, nurturing care and education for children from 6 weeks through Kindergarten entry. Our STEAM-focused Camp Academy summer program serves school-age children ages 5-12.
While we are here for the children, we also love helping entry-level teachers grow into confident Lead Teachers and educational professionals.
