Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Houseman to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our facility, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment for guests and staff alike. Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and trash removal to maintain cleanliness throughout the property.
- Conduct floor care activities such as polishing, buffing, and carpet cleaning to ensure floors are well-maintained.
- Assist with custodial responsibilities, including restocking supplies and ensuring restrooms are clean and stocked.
- Support housekeeping management by organizing cleaning schedules and reporting maintenance issues promptly.
- Handle industrial cleaning tasks as needed, utilizing appropriate equipment and cleaning agents.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas, guest rooms, hallways, and service areas to uphold hygiene standards.
- Assist with setup and breakdown of event spaces or other special projects as required.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial roles is preferred.
- Experience with floor care techniques such as polishing and carpet cleaning is advantageous.
- Hotel or hospitality experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with guest service standards.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning supplies, equipment, and safety procedures related to industrial cleaning.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to perform tasks efficiently and thoroughly.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good physical stamina for lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Previous experience in housekeeping management or custodial roles is beneficial but not required.
