Bring your energy to Aggreko as a High Voltage Electrician 2 based in Pearland, TX.
You’ll perform installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, and repair of Aggreko's electrical power distribution equipment, including transformers, switchgear, load banks, cables, and related systems. This role supports both field and service center operations while ensuring compliance with safety regulations, technical standards, and customer expectations.

What you’ll do as a High Voltage Electrician 2
- Travel greater than 75% on a rotational basis to support projects for North America (NAM) and to support the Electrical Services hubs currently in North Houston, Livingston, Baltimore, and Bakersfield.

Field service and repair HV electrical distribution equipment, with the primary focus on the field testing and commissioning of Aggreko MV electrical specialty equipment.

Perform MV and LV Preventive Maintenance (PM) inspection and testing services for electrical equipment in the shop as well as on the job site.

Manage and provide technical support on major projects that incorporate specialty electrical distribution equipment.

Conducting safety inspections and complying with Aggreko's safety regulation.

May resolve/troubleshoot implementation problems.
You are:
- High school diploma or GED or 8+ years of relevant work experience and knowledge as certified within Aggreko’s Tech Certification Program with some exposure to MV electrical installation and commissioning or similar program in the MV testing and/or construction.

High level of knowledge of the entire electrical system, MV and LV, specifically the key electrical components and the proper gear setup, commissioning and start up procedures.

Proven knowledge of the principles of electricity and electrical design.

Completion of third-party certifications within the Aggreko Training Plan (AVO) or equivalent MV training program (company provided training upon hire).

Excellent customer service skills.

Must be able to safely meet the physical demands outlined in the Essential Physical Capacities Assessment and pass the post-offer physical abilities assessment, which includes being able to lift (60 lbs), push/pull (80 lbs), carry (60 lbs), climb stairs and ladders as well as a combination of climbing while carrying objects (15 lbs), stoop, kneel and squat
